SPX Cooling Technologies Unveils Redesigned Marley AV Cooling Tower

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc. has redesigned its popular Marley AV line of factory-assembled single-flow cooling towers.

The new induced draft cross-flow design features both single- and multi-fan models and a broader tonnage range from 122 to 772 nominal tons and flow rate of 117 to 1541 gallons per minute (27 to 350 m3/hr).The AV provides a compact footprint and is well-suited to support air conditioning and refrigeration systems as well as light industrial loads.

A bearing housing belt drive system is standard equipment; the Marley Geareducer and motor outside airstream options are available on some models. Other popular selections include welded stainless steel basins, sweeper piping, interior mechanical and access door platforms, slip-resistant plenum walkway and hot water basin guardrail system for safe and easy inspection and maintenance.

Featuring the new, patent-pending MarKey Drift Eliminators, the AV Cooling Tower achieves the lowest measureable drift rate, down to 0.0005 percent of circulating water flow, so less water escapes the tower. Quiet and ultra-quiet fan options are factory installed on most models. Control packages offer single-point power connections for a range of systems. The AV is certified by the Cooling Technology Institute and multi-cell models are Factory Mutual approved. The line is available worldwide.
