CxEnergy Offers 2020 Virtual Experience

CxEnergy Virtual is an online platform that allows co-presenting organization members and conference registrants to access live and pre-recorded technical sessions that were originally scheduled to be presented at the CxEnergy 2020 Conference and Expo.

CxEnergy was originally set for this month, but had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected nearly every aspect of life and commerce in the U.S.

The CxEnergy Virtual responds to this with eight, one-hour live webinars to ensure that it provides the same amount of live session hours that would have been received by attending the live conference. In addition, the sessions are all approved for AIA Learning Units so attendees of the Virtual Experience can attain the same continuing education credits they would have otherwise received by attending the live conference’s technical program.

The CxEnergy Virtual begins at 2 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, April 23, with a timely topic, “Commissioning for Reliability & Resiliency – Lessons Learned” by Robert Knoedler, P.E, CxA, EMP, Hanson Professional Services Inc. and Jim Magee, CxA, EMP Facility Commissioning Group. Both presenters have served in multiple posts on CxEnergy presenting organization boards and are respected throughout the commissioning and energy management professions.

This initial presentation covers the ability of critical systems to anticipate, resist, respond, adapt and recover from a failure or disturbance and how owners of critical facilities are adding formal resiliency plans to their risk management.

Subsequent CxEnergy Virtual presentations cover a variety of topics from industry leaders, ranging from measurement and verification on energy savings projects, to healthcare emergency power supply systems’ commissioning. Register here.

CxEnergy is presented by the AABC Commissioning Group, Associated Air Balance Council and Energy Management Association.
